Xiaomi Mi 5 My initial impressions

Hey Guys, After almost 2 years Xiaomi has come back with its next flagship smartphone named
Xiaomi Mi 5

Xiaomi which is known as one of the biggest smartphone seller in china giving a good competition to biggest smartphone manufactures like iPhone and Samsung's by bring low cost high performance under the hood smartphones. And proving it again and again.

Recently, Xiaomi launched its flagship smartphone that is Mi 5 at a event happening at Barcelona, named the Mobile World Congress.

So without further ado lets look into its feature and technical specifications and Pricing for the same:

Looking at the specs above you can say that what is xiaomi aiming at, that is great specs and at lesser price which you can't get from any smartphone manufacturer. This is what the USP of Xiaomi smartphones.

Xiaomi's president Hugo Barra, hosted the show for the launch of Mi 5. So let us see what he announced in the launch event below:

• Mr. Hugo Barra Said they sold 70 million phone last year globally.
• According to IDC Xiaomi is the number one brand in China and world wide they are 5th in terms of volumes of sales. And regarding Mi 4 they sold almost 16 million phone uptill now.

• About the processor:

They said that the performance of the snapdragon 820 processor is  100% better than the Snapdragon 810 chipset. And about the GPU the Adreno 530 is about 40% faster than its predecessor.

• About storage:

Now they have moved from EMMC storage to UFS storage system which can flow data in any ways and larger ways (i.e. not just in a straight line only) which make the phone faster then its predecessors.

• About charging and USB port:

It will support fast charging, which can charge your phone to upto 80% in one hour and it will support USB C-type 3.0 port 

• It also has a fingerprint scanner on the front of the phone, just like samsung phone's, that is the fingerprint scanner is embedded under the physical home buttom. Which is specially designed elongated so that they can keep the Basel's small.
• It also has NFC support and IR blaster
• The weight of the phone is only 129grams.

• About the camera:

It has this special feature of "OIS" optical image stabilization which different from the conventional OIS, that means it has 4-aixs image stabilization instead of 2-aixs. And is also has face detection auto focus which can focus on your face and clicks a blur free image quickly.

And on the front camera they have 4MP ultra pixel camera which helps in taking good low lighting photographs.

Xiaomi will launch this phone in China on March 1st, 2016 and they did mentioned that they will be launching the same in India soon but exact date for India Launch is not mentioned. They are launching the Xiaomi Redmi note 3 on the 3rd march 2016 in India, so they might announce there the launch of Mi 5 dates in that event.
