Have you ever noticed Google's " I'm Feeling Lucky " button, if yes, know what's it?

Hey guys, today while browsing on PC i noticed this Google button beside the google search button and then i wondered what is it, so after doing little research i found the use of the same. And so i thought to share the same with you.

As you can see above, that is the thing i am talking about, when you click on the same, it opens google's doodles page, where there are google's doodle which they used previously and many more.

But this button was introduced by google when they were in there nascent stage. That time google as a search engine was not as advanced as it is today. So at that time when user used to search for something on google it could not give him proper and refined search, so the user has to browse through many results and go through many ads.

So what google did is introduced this " I'm Feeling Lucky " Button, so if a user clicks on this button while his search he was directed straight to the top searched results and it also used to skip ads and indirectly the user used to save time on his search.

But this button used to cost millions of dollars a year for google, because ads were skipped while doing this research, So Google decided to do something different after 2010. They, instead of removing this button they made that button to direct it towards there Doodles page.

So now when you click on this button it directly take you to its Doodle page
