Tez app by Google India

Hey Guys, Today, that is on 18th Sept 2017 Google India has introduced a new digital payment app named as "TEZ". This app is specially designed by Google for India.

Now you might be thinking, what is this app about? So without further ado, lets get started:

So what is this app about?

This is basically a digital payment app which lets you do following:

• Send money home to your family
• Split a dinner bill with friends and also
• Pay the neighbourhood chaiwala

So do all the payments whether they are big or small, do it directly through this app.

Features:

• Bank to Bank money transfer, that means transfer your money from one bank account to other bank account directly. No need to download and sign up for another payment wallet account. They call this feature as " Money in your bank"

• Tez Shield: 

Google India says that Tez app does secured payment transactions and are also protected with Tez Shield, which works 24/7 to help detect frauds, prevent hacking, and verify your identity. 

And the transactions are carried out with the use of UPI PIN, also the app is secured wtih a Google PIN or your phones screen lock methods such as fingerprint.

• Most unique feature in this app is "Pay Nearby"

This system works with ultra sonic sound technology, were you just need to keep two devices (Sender and Receiver of the money) near each other and should have TEZ app installed on both the devices.

No need to give your Bank account details or Phone numbers. It works directly.

Now as shown in the image above send or receive money in your bank account immediately. 

• Pay with Tez at Point of Sale (POS)

Currently following POS locations support Tez app: (more will be added later on)

You just need to find Tez app logo or use your Tez UPI lD, at the time of check out.

• Delightful Surprises: Here you can earn Tez scratch Cards upto Rs 1000 with each transaction on Tez app.
• Also you will be eligible for Rs 1lakh, if you are lucky. Every week on Sunday these winners will be announced.
• And all this will be directly transferred to your bank account.

Note: Transactions must be of Rs 50 or more with a unique user.

• Multiple Language support: It currently supports English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu

• For Business owners and merchants : You can use this app for accepting payments. You need to link your current account with this app. Payment goes directly for consumers bank account to your current bank account. 

Note : With zero transaction fees. You can only receive upto Rs 50000 per month with the use of  UPI with zero transaction fees and after that your bank may charge fees or charge additional requirements for further transactions.
